After Donald tricks the chipmunks to shovel snow, they get things a-poppin' in the duck's house.

Donald needs a log for his fire. Unfortunately, the one he picks is occupied by a couple of chipmunks and their stash of acorns. When he cuts it down, Chip and Dale fall out, but their acorns stay behind, so they work at putting out Donald's fire and retrieving their stash. Donald, of course, takes this as calmly and cheerfully as you would expect.

Donald steals Chip and Dale's nuts for his nut-butter shop, which is shaped like a giant walnut, Chip and Dale, roll and "shoot" Donald into a nearby lake.

Donald Duck has a model train and town laid out in his yard. He decides to move a live tree that doesn't match the model scale, not realizing it is home to chipmunks Chip and Dale. They in turn move into one of the miniature houses.

Chip and Dale ready themselves for battle just like the knights of old when Donald moves his hulking steam shovel into position, intent on clearing a path right through their tree. Who will prevail in the medieval battle for the junkyard?

Figaro the kitten is annoyed by the chirpings of Frankie the canary. He knocks over Frankie's cage; Minnie thinks he's eaten Frankie and throws him out. But Frankie was only hiding, and flies out the window straight into the clutches of Butch the bulldog. Figaro wrestles with his conscience (literally), but ultimately saves Frankie and gets thanks from Minnie.
